Astaxanthin

 

 

Astaxanthin is a carotenoid and a natural pigment found in certain types of plants and bacteria. It can be found naturally in salmon, plankton and krill.

Applications
1. Astaxanthin is used both as a human nutritional supplement and as an additive in the food of certain livestock.
2. It can be used in coloring food, fast food, baking food, drink, jelly bears, confectionery products and dairy products.
3. Astaxanthin can also be used in coloring fat, margarine, edible oil, salad, soft drink and snacks, as well as soft capsules.
